Ryan Keyes named NCDC New England Division Goaltender of the Year!

Foxboro, MA – South Shore Kings goaltender Ryan Keyes has been recognized as the 2023-2024 NCDC New England Division Goaltender of the Year!

Keyes, a native of Fairbanks, AK, is in his 3rd season in the NCDC. Ryan appeared in 41 regular season games for the Kings. He finished with a 31-7-2 record, 2.06 GAA and .926 SV%. His 31 wins was good for 1st in the NCDC. Keyes is 8-1 in the playoffs with a 2.00 GAA and .933 SV%.

Ryan is the NCDC all-time leader in playoff wins (10), save percentage (.944) and goals against (1.96). His 8 wins thus far are also the most all time in a playoff run.

He also earned Goaltender of the Month in October and November.

Keyes is committed to Merrimack College (Hockey East) for this fall.

Evan Szary, who is in his junior year at Army West Point, was the last Kings goaltender to win this award (2020-2021).
