Foxboro, MA. - Break out the brooms! The Kings have swept their way to the Atlantic/New England Conference Finals. South Shore finds themselves in a familiar spot as last year, as they go up against the PAL Jr. Islanders in a 5-game series. The rematch of last year's Dineen Cup will be must-watch hockey.

Both teams went head to head in the regular season meeting twice in the earlier months. Their first meeting was a 3-2 OT win for the Kings back in September at the BJB Shootout and their second came a few weeks later at the Hitmen Classic resulting in a 4-1 South Shore victory. PAL went on to have a phenomenal season clinching the number one overall seed in the league with a 40-7-4 record while the Kings finished with a 36-12-2 record in the New England Division.

Both teams are playing some of their best hockey of the season getting contributions from everyone on the roster. The Kings are led by Justin Ryan who has been on another planet during the NCDC Playoffs finding the net 6 times along with 1 assist. Kotaro Murase has been hot finishing the first two rounds with 2 goals and 5 assists. On the other side, PAL has found life in their playoff run, as Ryan Kearny has posted 10 points in the first two rounds with 3 goals and 7 assists. Both Ryan Franks and Heikki Virtanen have found the net 4 times and posted 5 assists for 9 points.

The two teams wouldn't be here without the unbelievable goaltending play from South Shore's Ryan Keyes and PAL's Nicholas Bevilacqua. Keyes, who recently committed to NCAA Division 1 Merrimack College, has been standing on his head through the first two rounds posting a 5-0 record with a .954 save % and a 1.47 GAA. It's been similar on the other end of the ice with Bevilacqua who has a 5-2 record with a .953 save % and a 1.59 GAA.

The highly anticipated re-match will start Thursday, April 11th in Long Island with a puck drop at 4:45 PM.
