Foxboro, MA - The South Shore Kings are excited to announce NCDC Defenseman Thomas Whitford has committed to Suffolk University for the fall of 2024!

Whitford, a native of Gibsonia, PA, is in his 2nd season with the Kings NCDC team. He appeared in 43 regular season games for the Kings in 2022-2023. He also appeared in all 8 playoff games. He has played in all 38 regular season games for the Kings this season. He has a 2-5-7 line.

Coach Holske, EPS, and everyone else who contributes to the Kings organization made it a quick and easy decision to come back for my last year of juniors. The organization truly cares about the players and provides us everything we need to get better on and off the ice. We have a good group this year and I’m very excited to see how our season pans out." - Thomas Whitford

"I am excited and proud of Tommy's commitment to further his education and hockey career at Suffolk University. Over the last 2 years, I have enjoyed watching him grow as a person and as hockey player. He has taken a big step in year 2. He is a big reason why we have the lowest shots against per game in the NCDC. He is also one of our key players on the penalty kill.
