The South Shore Kings would like to congratulate Drew Commesso, Ian Moore, Sam Colangelo. Brett Berard, Ben Meehan and Gunnarwolfe Fontaine on being selected in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

Commesso (Norwell, MA), was selected in the 2nd round, #46 overall by the Chicago Blackhawks. Drew was a member of the South Shore Kings '02 team that won the U14 Massachusetts State Championship in 2016. He has spent the past two seasons playing with the USNTDP and is a freshman at Boston University this fall.

Colangelo (Stoneham, MA), was selected in the 2nd round, #36 overall by the Anaheim Ducks. Sam grew up playing for the '01 Kings. He played for the Chicago Steel this past season and is now a freshman at Northeastern. 

Moore (Concord, MA), was selected in the 3rd round, #67 overall by the Anaheim Ducks. Ian was a member of the South Shore Kings '02 team that won the U14 Massachusetts State Championship in 2016. He just graduated from St. Mark's School and will play for the Chicago Steel before heading to Harvard in the fall of 2021.

Berard (East Greenwich, RI), was selected in the 5th round, #134 overall by the New York Rangers. Brett was a member of the South Shore Kings '02 team that won the U14 Massachusetts State Championship in 2016. He spent the last two seasons playing with the USNTDP and is a freshman at Providence College this fall.

Meehan (Walpole, MA), was selected in the 5th round, #140 overall by the Los Angeles Kings. Ben was a member of the '01 Kings growing up.  He played for Cedar Rapids this past season and is now a freshman at UMass Lowell. 

Fontaine (East Greenwich, RI), was selected in the 7th round, #202 overall by the Nashville Predators. Gunnarwolfe played youth hockey for the '00 Kings. He spent the past two seasons playing for the Chicago Steel and is now a freshman at Northeastern.
