Kings Defeat CP Dynamo 4-3, Remain Unbeaten in USPHL!

Kings 16U get 2 goals from Sam Myles and a 24 save effort from James Stone on Saturday.

Foxboro, MA - The South Shore Kings 16U USPHL team defeated CP Dynamo 4-3 on Saturday afternoon at the Foxboro Sports Center. With the win, the Kings move to 8-0 in United States Premier Hockey League play.

Sam Myles opened the scoring for the Kings just 4:54 into the first period. Eric Kotkowski found the back of the net late in the first period to give the Kings a 2-0 lead after 17 minutes. Early in the second period, Jack Dalto got CP Dynamo on the board. Just 80 seconds later, Sam Myles recorded his 2nd goal of the afternoon for the Kings. Ben Mercurio connected on the power play for the Kings to give them a 4-1 lead headed into the dressing room. CP Dynamo came out in the third period and got back into the game with two quick goals but it wasn't enough as the Kings prevailed 4-3.

James Stone held the fort for the Kings turning aside 24 shots. Alex Gerard (23 saves) took the loss in net for CP Dynamo.

The Kings will look for the season sweep over CP Dynamo tomorrow afternoon. Puck drop scheduled for 1:20PM at the Foxboro Sports Center!
