The South Shore Kings are excited to announce NCDC Defenseman and 2 year Captain Ryan Leonard has committed to Lindenwood University for the Fall of 2021!

Leonard (Duxbury, MA), has been with the Kings organization for 5 seasons. In 2017-2018, he played for our USPHL U18 Full Season and also played in 9 NCDC games. He has spent the last 3 seasons playing for our NCDC team. In 134 career NCDC games with the Kings, Ryan had 5 goals and 21 assists. He also served as team captain the past two seasons.

Ryan took over as captain last year and embraced the role perfectly with his on-ice and off -ice professionalism. Ryan worked over the past 2 season to perfect his role as a shut down, hard nosed, puck moving defenseman and I am beyond content that it was noticed by the Lindenwood staff and Coach Zombo. Lindenwood Universtiy, located in St. Charles, Missouri, will begin NCAA Division 1 play in 2022-23.
