U18 Sweeps Weekend Series with New York Aviators!

Brooklyn, NY - The South Shore Kings U18 team opened the 2019 -2020 season with a weekend sweep over the New York Aviators.

On Saturday, the Aviators jumped out to a 3-0 lead and held the lead going into 3rd period. Just 1:45 into the 3rd period, Liam Fenton got the Kings on the board, Aidan Fenton would score two goals in 3 minutes to tie the game up for the Kings. The Kings had a powerplay to start overtime. Brian Craven found the back of the net and the Kings came all the way back to defeat the Aviators 4-3. Patrick Colburn made 21 saves in the victory.

Sunday, the Kings offense showed up early. Austin Hirschberger recorded a hat trick while Nick Larkin picked up two goals and an assist. Jackson King earned the victory in net turning aside 24 shots.
